Maryam Nazeri is a practicing dentist as well as the president at Orange Coast Dental located in Santa Ana. Her practice is patient-centered which strives to optimize patients’ oral health through education and ethical moral dental practices and techniques. Throughout Ms. Nazeri’s dental career she has been able to serve the community with several different organizations which allowed her to appreciate how her position can impact the community. Due to dental training and experiences, she now possesses solid clinical, writing, and educational skills which will be able to display as a WIB member.  While attending high school she enrolled in the Regional Occupational Program and soon after received a dental assistant certificate and x-ray license. Before attending dental school, Ms. Nazeri worked for 5 years as a dental assistant.  She started from the most basic position in a dental office and worked through practically all positions until attending USC School of Dentistry. In May of 2006, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from USC. Her primary interests are in the areas of community improvement through service and education, as evidenced by her past employment and volunteer work.
