Our Board | Officers | Patricia Carter
Patricia Carter joined the Workforce Investment Board on January 5, 2009. All of her employment profile is education related. Due to her great understanding of the culture of academics, she was able to move up in ranks at Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) from being a classified employee to director of the Regional Occupational Program/Career Development. As a director she is in charge of: program management, recruitment/selections/evaluation of personnel, business operations, and public relations. Her education and credentials includes a master of arts in occupational studies and a California Teaching Credential. There are other accomplishments worth mentioning such as CSULB Graduate Dean’s List of University Scholars 2001 and SAUSD/ROP Teacher of the Year Award. Under the Workforce Investment Board she wants to get involved with youth-related issues as she sits on the Youth Council.
