Our Board | Officers | Benjamin R. Blank
Benjamin R. Blank has over 23 years of experience in administering human services programs including legislative and regulatory analysis; local policy development; fiscal and budgetary analysis; research and data compilation/presentation; and community collaboration. The County of Orange Social Services Agency has employed Mr. Blank since 1985. During his tenure with the County, he has moved through the ranks from financial assistance caseworker and supervisor to program management to his current position of Deputy Director for the Family Self-Sufficiency Division. As a Deputy Director, he carries the important responsibility of overseeing CalWORKs policy development and services. He also serves as a direct advisor to the Social Services Agency Executive Management. The education he brings includes an Associate of Arts Degree from Fullerton College. Mr. Blank prepared himself for his current capacity by earning certificates from the Orange County Leadership Academy & County of Orange’s Supervisory and Management Preparation program. Away from his day-to-day job duties, he is actively involved with two organizations: Orange County Child Care and Development Planning Council & County Welfare Directors Association, Self-Sufficiency Committee. In May of 2007, Mr. Blank was appointed to the Workforce Investment Board.
