Eduardo Figueroa is the founder of Hispanic Business Consultants.  His business is focused primarily on entrepreneurship and workforce-related trainings.  Mr. Figueroa is a specialist in training and mentoring leads, salespeople and managers to become better in their respective area of work.  The training workshops and seminars are tailor-made in Spanish which Mr. Figueroa has presented to both USA’s and Mexico’s companies.  He also teaches Latinos entrepreneurs how to start up and grow a business.  As a result of focusing on the Latino population, Mr. Figueroa has obtained various grants from different organizations such as the Orange County Workforce Investment Board and Wells Fargo – the awarded grants have ranged from $45,000 to $100,000.  Because of his innovative ideas, TV Channel 52 Telemundo (a Spanish language station) aired 12 business segments to inform and educate the Latino community as to how to be successful in business.  In 2006, Mr. Figueroa joined the Workforce Investment Board and is current member on the Marketing Committee.  He also serves as a member to various community organizations like that of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County and National Society of Hispanics with MBA’s. In his spare time, he volunteers in community by presenting free seminars to the general public as well as to high school and college students.  Mr. Figueroa founded “Latinos for Progress”, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation whose goal is “to educate and help Latinos reach their full potential, through economic and personal growth.”  His education includes a Masters Degree in Business Administration from IPADE, a graduate institute affiliated with Harvard Business School & a Chemical Industrial Engineering Degree from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (National Polytechnic Institute), both in Mexico City.
