Our Board | Officers | Jon Dietz
Jon Dietz is the CEO of Financial Statement Services Inc. (FSSI). FSSI provides print and electronic document production and distribution to large and mid-size companies. The company has over 150 employees, most of them Santa Ana residents. On March 11, 2005, the Santa Ana Workforce Investment Board elected him as Chair. Mr. Dietz has served on the Santa Ana WIB since its inception in March 2000. Prior to serving on the WIB, Mr. Dietz served on the Private Industry Council (PIC) from 1995 until 2000, and became its chair in 1999. He decided to join the Board because “he liked the direction in which the City of Santa Ana was heading, and wanted to be part of it.” Throughout his tenure on the Santa Ana WIB, Mr. Dietz has distinguished himself for his commitment to workforce issues, and his involvement in the Board’s Oversight and Data Committee. Mr. Dietz was instrumental in the design and implementation of a Return on Investment (ROI) study conducted by Chapman University. The ROI study measured programs funded by the board to determine how they benefited job participants and employers, and the monetary value created by these programs. The result was an astounding 3 to 1 ratio: for every dollar that the federal government invested in workforce funding, it received approximately three times that amount in benefits. Mr. Dietz holds an undergraduate degree in Chinese Studies and History from the University of California at San Diego, and a M.B.A. from the American Graduate School of International Management. He is bilingual in Mandarin and English, and enjoys local and international travel. Jon is also active as a Director of the Greater Santa Ana Business Alliance.
