Renée Ward is the owner of The Forward Group, a recruitment advertising consultancy and founder of two national online Career Centers for businesses that want to recruit people 50 and older at Seniors4Hire.org and/or young adults in the high school and college age groups at Teens4Hire.org. The Career Centers provide valuable employment resources including online job readiness and certification, as well as, connect older and younger job seekers with opportunities in local and national companies like RadioShack, Staples, Petco, UCLA Healthcare, Bank of America and more than 800 others. Ms. Ward has been serving on the Santa Ana WIB since June 2005, and is the current WIB Vice-Chair and Chair of the Marketing Committee. She joined the Board because she wanted to be a part of an organization that had an active role in addressing the needs of the local workforce. She is a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management) and served on the SHRM Workforce Readiness Committee, PIHRA (Professionals in Human Resource Association), ERE (Electronic Recruiting Exchange), and IAEW (International Association of Employment Web Sites). Ms. Ward is a published author, noted speaker and an expert resource to media, schools, and community groups. She has had numerous television appearances such as CBS Early Show, NBC’s Today Show, CBS Evening News, and CNN. She has been featured in thousands of print publications such as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the New York Times, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune, and Newsweek. She holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California.
