Cheryl Alexander, M.A., is a strong advocate for permanency and emancipation efforts for older youth. Before Ms. Alexander was working for the Orange County Children and Family Services Agency, she worked for Franklin County Social Services Agency, Ohio Social Services for 5 years. At Franklin County, she was case manager and then moved up the ranks very quickly and became the Director of the Adolescent Program at a Drug and Psychiatrist Hospital. In her current capacity, she is supervisor of the Emancipation Services Program at the Orange County Children and Family Services Agency. She has worked with various other programs including: Emergency Response Program, Group Home Program Investigation and Monitoring Program. Besides sitting on the Youth Council, she has sat on numerous city, county, and state committees such as the California State Teen Conference Committee and Family to Family Committee. She earned an M.A. in Counseling.
